Airheads Extremes Bites

You may have seen the most recent Voxbox, the Dean's List Voxbox, that I recieved from Influenster and the Airheads Bites that came inside. If not you can check out the entire contents in my post Here
And if you havent seen my review for the Aireheads Bites you can find that Here

After trying the Airheads Bites (that I recieved free for sampling purposes) I found out that they had Extremes Bites and I knew I had to try them. Airheads Extremes are one of my favorite candies so these sounded perfect.

I found the Extremes Bites (and Airheads Bites) easily in the Meijer candy aisle. The Airheads Extremes Bites come in a 6oz bag for a dollar and some change (I think its close to 2 dollars but I cant remember for sure). I decided to wait to try them and Sunday I noticed they were on sale for $0.99 at Meijer so I figured it would be the perfect time to grab a bag.

(Photo: Mine)

When I first picked up a bag the little sqaure pieces felt a little harder then I thought they would be, I thought they were going to be pretty soft. This was one reason I put off trying them, I was afraid Meijer had a bad batch or something and didnt want to pay full price.

Upon trying these they are a good amount of soft, not too soft and not too hard, so even though they felt a little harder then I expected they werent too hard.

These were honestly even better then I expected, my boyfriend and I devoured them. We both love regular Airheads Extremes but I think I almost like the Bites more. They have great flavor and texture, and a good amount of sour. They taste very similar to the Airheads Extremes but I think they are a little thicker and easier to eat since they aree bite sized.

I apologize these photos are even worse then normal, I took them quickly one night before inhaling the rest of the Bites.

I definitly recommend giving these a try unless you absolutly hate sour candy. Im not a huge sour candy fan but I do love these.

Not sure where to find some?

Advil Film-Coated

I recently got some samples of Advil Film-Coated to try from Crowdtap.

One thing I will say is I didnt have much time at all to try this product :(
I received my "you only have one week left to submit your report" e-mail a day before I even got my samples (and judging my instagram posts it looked like most people got theirs around the same time).  Of course as luck would have it I went through my week to two of awful daily neck pain right before recieving this product and have felt ok since recieving it so i havent been able to try it.
I will be updating this post once i do get a chance to try it.

This is what Advil.com says about the Advil Film-Coated:

"Our latest innovation in relief stops pain before it gets worse.  This Advil® is formulated with a unique Advil Ion Core™  Technology and an ultra thin shell to absorb quickly – in fact nothing is proven to work faster*
Use fast acting Advil® Film-Coated for headaches, muscle aches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, back pain, and aches and pains associated with the common cold. Fast acting Advil® Film-Coated leverages the rapid absorption properties of ibuprofen sodium, now available for the first time in the US."
Upon looking at other reviews I found that some people did claim that these worked faster then other pain releivers and one even thought they worked faster then the Advil Liquid Gels for cramps.

I am excited to try these when I get the chance. I typically use pain relievers for head aches, neck aches (which I get a ton of) and cramps. My usual pain reliever of choice is Ib Profin because its what we tend to have at home. I have used the Advil Liquid Gels a few times when i needed fast relief so I am curious to see how this compares

I'll update this post once I've had a chance to give this a try and let you know what I think.

New Airhead's Bites

As you may know if you've seen my Dean's List Voxbox Post I recently recieved the Dean's List Voxbox and one of the items inside was the new Airheads Bites.

New Aireheads Bites
(Photo: Mine)

They come in Fruit amd Berry flavors ans there are also Airheads Extremes Bites (which i really want to try!)

*Update: I finally bought some Airheads Extremes Bites, you can see what I thought of them Here

I wasnt sure how great these would be, sometimes when things are made into bite size they taste different then the regular size candy but these taste almost exactly like regular airheads. They are slightly different entitially because they have a bit of a shell coating (not really crunchy but slightly firmer then them inside). But once you start chewing its just like your chewing on a bite of an airhead.

Airheads Bites Candies
(Photo: Mine)
The photo above was only some of the candy from the package, not all of it.

My boyfriend and I were a little disapointed in the amount of each flavor we got in the pack. There were tons of Yellow (Lemon) and Orange (Orange lol), a reasonable amount of Red (Cherry), only 3 Green (Watermelon) and only 2 Blue (Blue Raspberry) which is our favorite candy flavor.

Flavors in Fruit Pack
(Photo: Mine)

I'm suprisingly not too picky when it comes to candy, I dont mind eating lemon, orange and some of the other less popular flavors but I do have my favorites that I would prefer to have more of (like
Blue Raspberry). My boyfriend on the other hand refuses to eat lemon and orange and doesnt really like cherry so he only got to eat about three of these (I made him leave me one Green and one Blue so I could try them for reviewing purposes).

I'm not sure if every Fruit bag is like this or if we just got a Orange, Yellow and Red populated bag. I would love to see Airheads make more of the popular flavors and less of the less popular flavors. I thought the Berry pack might of been to give people more of the popular flavors like starbursts did with their favorite reds pack but I looked up the flavors:  Cherry Berry, Blackberry, Grape berry, Blue Raspberry and Banana berry (thanks to walgreens.com) which I could be wrong but I dont think all of those are real popular flavors.

Overall I really enjoyed these, they tasted almost exactly like regular airheads in bite size pieces (like they should) but I would like to see more of the popular flavors inside each bag and less of the less popular flavors.

Thank you Influenster and Airheads for letting me sample these!

*I recieved this product free from Influenster for testing purposes. The opinions in this post are my own and I am not rewarded for posting a positive review over a negative one. I was only asked to give my honest opinions. All photos are mine unless otherwise noted.*

Deans List Voxbox Contents

Its here! I got my Deans List Voxbox in the mail yesterday and I couldnt wait to open it up and start trying all the goodies inside.

The Dean's List Voxbox
(From my Instagram: Auntie_m_25)

As I said in my Previous post this is my 2nd Voxbox (first was my Surfs Up which you can see Here).
This Voxbox is for college students, packed with goodies to help get you through the semester.

Dean's List Voxbox
(From my Instagram: Auntie_m_25)

*Warning: I'm going to be pretty nit picky, I usually like a lot of the products but I think its more helpful to hear about details people do and dont like so you know if its something your willing to deal with or would absolutly hate.

I am really happy with what I got but one thing I get slightly disapointed about Voxbox's is there are
two products that half the people get one of and the other half get the other product (did that makes since?). For this Voxbox, some people recieved the Covergirl Gorgeous Liquid Foundation and others received Lumen's throat drops. What I do like about this is that it customizes your box slightly to your taste. Some people would prefer samling make up, while others arent big make up users and would rather have something they would use like cough drops. The part I dont like about it is the two products are unevenly priced. I really shouldnt complain, we are getting free products to sample after all but it would be nice to get a more even sample variety. Foundation costs $6.99-8.99 and the cough drops cost $1.49. I think it would have been nice to atleast get both the watermelon and the blue raspberry throat drops to try instead of just one to make it a little more even.

On to the actual products now. I could have recieved the Covergirl Ready, Set Gorgeous Liquid Foundations, Luden's Watermelon Throat Drops, or Luden's Blue Raspberry Throat Drops. In my box I recieved the Luden's Blue Raspberry Throat Drops.

Luden's Blue Raspberry Throat Drops
(Photo: Mine)

Description on provided insert card: "Luden's New deliciously soothing Watermelon and Blue Raspberry flavors were chosen by our Facebook Fans and you're the first to try one of them! Scratchy throat? Sore throat? Try a Luden's! Enjoy them. Share them. Any where. Anytime. Let us know what you think! Only at Target."

Price: $1.49

They come in many different flavors (Watermelon and Blue Raspberry being their newest)
You can see all their flavors Here

The rest of the products were included in all the deans list Voxbox's, some came in different flavors (like the chapstick).

I recieved one bag of the new Airheads Bites candy to sample.

The description: "Bite into bitable Airheads Bites. The same chewy and fruity candy you love but now in bite sized, easy-to-eat pieces. Airheads Bites are available in fruit and berry flavors."

Price: $0.87-1.29

They also have the Airheads Extremes available in bite sizes as well.

I got a 2 pack of the Pilot FriXion Clicker erasable pens along with a $1 off coupon to purchase another 2 pack (which I plan on using!)

Price: $5.75 for a 2-pack

These come in tons of colors, from your basic black, blue and red to all colors of the rainbow. I have seen various shades of multiple colors online. I have tried the caped version of these pens in the past and they also have highlighters that I have tried.

One of my favorite brands was also included in this box (I have gotten so msny samples of this brand but I absolutly love it!) Sinfulcolors No Text Red

Price: $1.99

Sinful colors is such a great brand, its inexpensive and I've had many colors that last over a week without chipping! I think their new caaign is great, getting people to stop texting and driving in a fun way and hopefully cutting down the the number of accidents and deaths caused by texting accidents. I dont think i have a red sinful colors yet so im excited to try this one out.

Next is Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes. I got them in flirty style.

I never really wore fake lashes untill about a year ago i started experiementing with them a bit for special occations so I am excited to see how these work out.

Softlips Cube, I've always loved Softlips but the little tubes were so tiny it was hard to put on (and i have tiny lips!) I'm really excited about this adorable little cube, and I plan on comparing it to the popular ethos chapstick. I recieved the Softlips Cube in Fresh Mint flavor.

I'm really excited to try everything out and I hope a few of these things really come in handy this semester. Cant wait to let you know what I think so look out for some reviews throughout October!

Thank you Influenster for another exciting Voxbox full of wonderful samples!

2nd Voxbox Coming Soon

Im really excited, yesterday I found out I will soon be getting my second ever Voxbox! This coming Voxbox is called the Dean's List Voxbox and it is geared toward college students :D When I found out that Influenster was going to be releasing a Voxbox for college students I made sure to update my profile so they knew I am a college student and and started writing reviews and answering questions related to the college badge and then I got lucky enough to get picked!

I am a total nerd when it comes to school/office supplies, my sister is the same way. We love to go out and buy new plannners, binders, notebooks, pens, etc. Were always showing eachother new pens and things we found that we love lol and the beginning of a new year is too exciting with buying a new planner so this box is perfect for me. On top of school/office supplies it has some candy and throat drops which are always needed. There are also some make up products in the box, I love trying new make up so I am excited for that too.

(I apologize all the pictures are taken from the websites since I dont have the products yet. I took them on my phone from my ipad so some look really bad)

I couldnt wait to see what was in the box so I peaked at the cheat sheet to see what I'll be getting. First on the list is:

1. Luden's New Watermelon and Blue Raspberry Throat Drops
I havent heard of this brand before so I had to look them up. It looks like they are only available at Target (my favorite store <3 ) and these are two different flavors (I thought it was a blend of watermelon and blue raspberry lol not sure how that would turn out). I hope we get a bag of both in the box, I'd like to be able to try both flavors. Im really excited about these because i have an obsession with everything blue raspberry and I usually love anything watermelon. Ive also been getting a lot of sore throats lately from allergies and fighting off colds (not excited for flue season) so these will be perfect.

They also have tons of other flavors you can check out on their site and you can sign up for special
coupons.

2. Pilot FriXion Clicker
I love new pens so Im really excited for this one too. I think this is the same pen that I have tried and loved before but now its clickable instead of with a cap. These pens are awesome becuase they erase (and better then other erasable pens) but you dont need an eraser, they erase by frixion, so theres just a little rubber tip on the end, no more eraser crumbs! Plus they come in fun colors (pictured below, also in bright green, and if you like they basics- red, black and dark blue). Im hoping they send more then one and fun colors but I will be happy with some basic colors too. They also have highlighters like this too that I have and really like.

3. SinfulColors No Text Red
Another product I absolutly love and cant complain about getting more off to sample. If you havent tried sinful colors get your butt over to Walgreens, Meijer or one of the many other stores that sell Sinful Colors and try one! Only $1.99 absolutly worth a try!

I couldnt find a picture on their site and didnt want to take anyone elses so hopefully Ill see a display soon and take my own picture to show you but if you look up SinfulColor No Text Red you should be
able to find a picture of it. I found one of the actual display and the campaign they are doing is a really great one. No Tex Red is about stopping texting and driving. The display asks you to paint your thumb nails red to remind yourself and other not to text and drive.

4. Softlips Cube
Ok I have to be honest, I feel like this is Softlips attempt at an ethos type chapstick but i am excited to try it. I always liked soft lips but hated how tiny the stick was, it would run out so quick and it took forever to get it all over your lips (and I have tiny lips!). This looks like it will be much easier to use and I can always use more chapstick.
All the flavors look like something I would really like so I look forward to trying any of the three.

5. Airheads Bites
Ive seen the commercials for these over and over, not my favorite but kinda creative. Ive been wanting to try these though. I love Airheads candy and cant get enough of the airheads extremes so I cant wait to try bitesized airheads! (Which looking these up I see they have airheads extreme bites too!!! I must get these to try as well!)

6. Kiss Looks so Natural Lashes

I dont have a ton of experience with fake eyelashes but last year I took a sudden interest and decided to give them a try. I really like fake eye lashed but they can be tricky and time consuming to get on. I am excicted to try these, they appear natural looking on the video on the website and they give you a few tips on how to apply them so hopefully ill get the hang of it!

7. Covergirl Ready, Set Georgeous Liquid Foundation
I have always used Bare Minerals for foundation and have only branched out a tiny bit to try 2 other foundations before (Nars and Maybelline BB cream) so im interested in getting to try another foundation to see how it compares. I have oily skin so I am a little worried that it will make me really shiny, or worse breakout. But hopefully this foundation works out great.

Cant wait to get this box and try all the products inside :D

Skintimate Mandrin Burst Sampling

Skintimate Mandrin Burst

(Photo: mine from my instagram auntie_m_25)

This month I got to sample skintimates new Mandrin Burst shave gel. They sent me a full size bottle (which you can see above).

Before i was just using some Gillette mens shaving gel, I was out of gel a few months ago and asked my mom to just grab whatever was cheapest as Costco, mensor womans I didnt really care so mens it was. Nothing against Gillette its a decent gel its just meant for mens faces not womans legs lol but it got the job done.

(Photo: mine from my instagram)

First off I love the smell of the Mandrin Burst. They describe it as "a refrehing fragrance of fresh mandrin, lemon and lime". Its a wonderful fruity, tropical scent. I really enjoyed the scent and would definitly buy this scent to use again.

Im not positive how much this typically costs, I havent had a chance to check in the store yet but it looks like online it sells for $2.99 at walgreens.com which isnt too bad.

(Photo: mine)

Skintimate Mandrin Burst has "6 moisturizers, including vitamin E and olive butter, and helps replenish skins natural moisture while providing unbeatable razor protection for a close, comfortable shave and healthy feelin, smooth skin".

(Photo: mine)

Im not usually a sensitve skinned person but sometimes I find some slight irritation after shaving. I have noticed occationally after shaving I find one or two red bloches on my legs. They arent bumps, and they arent a rash, it kind of reminds me of a blood blister or something. Its just this flat deep red color under my skin, not sure what causes that? But havent noticed any while using this product so its possibley stopping that from happening.

I havent had any irritationa and my skin is silky smooth after each shave. I moisturize regularly, after every single shower. Occationally i jump in the shower just to rinse off or shave my legs real quick before bed (usually if i plan on working out the next morning and dont want to shower but want to freshen up a bit before bed) and when I do this I dont always feel like going through thr whole process of putting on lotion. I attempted shaving my legs before bed and not usuing any moisturizer after and my legs felt great! They were dry feeling or looking and felt completly moisturized. I was suprised becauase I have found in other moisturizing shave gels that they will leave you slightly moisturized but not enough to go without lotion after.

I'll apologize for the next picture, some might think its a bit gross because of hair but here is before and after close up of my legs. (I am awful, AWFUL! about shaving. I just dont have time for it, Im always on the run and to be honest couldnt care less anymore if people see some stuble on my legs. I do not let my legs get crazy caveman hairy or anything like that I just cant stand to be one of those daily shavers, Ive got more improtant things to do! So typically I shave once a week and occationally more if Im going somewhere nice or something in a dress. Sorry if you think thats gross but hey atleast I shave, I just dont have time for this daily shaving craziness!)

(Photo: mine)

So overall I really did enjoy Skintimate Mandrin Burst and do plan on purchasing it in the future to use again. I definitly recommend especially if you enjoy citris scents :)

Thanks Skintimate ans Crowdtap for the sampling oppurtunity!

*I recieved this product free for testing purposes through Crowdtap. I was asked to give my honest opionions and in no way was rewarded for a good review over a bad. I do get points for completing a review and blog post. All photos are mine unless otherwise stated.*

(FAST) First Aid Shot Therapy Review from Surfup Voxbox

Recently through Influenster I got my first ever Voxbox. If your not familiar with Influenster you can learn more in my post Here and if your wondering what else I got to sample you can see everything I got in my Surfs up Voxbox Here

Want your own VoxBox? Sign up here

One of the things included in my Surfs Up Voxbox was First Aid Shot Therapy F.A.S.T relief pain relief. This was provided to me free for smapling purposes.

(Photo: mine)

What is is? A little bottle of berry flavored liquid pain relief. Shot thearpy is an FDA apporived liquid pain reliever/ fever reducer with choline sailcyate (the website says this is a "non-steriodal anti-inflammatory drug-NSAID") and caffiene ("pain relief aid"). Its supposed to work better and faster then a regular pain reliever/fever reducing pill.

Its great for headaches, muscle pain, toothache, menstrual pain, pain and fever of colds, minor pain of arthritis, temporarily reduces fever.

They also have one for upset stomach which is great for heartburn, sour stomach, acid indigestion, upset stomach accociated with these symptoms. (Flavor = peppermint ginger with a hint of chocolate)

Above info. Taken from firstaidshottherapy.com
You can find detailed imfo. About both shot therapies through the link including a list of ingredients.

Safety sealed

Berry flavored but clear liquid, no stains if spilled!
(Photo: mine)

So i tried this around 4th of July (notice my horrible manicure i tried to quickly do before fireworks). I was getting ready to go to some neighborhood fireworks and i had a headache, neck ache and just felt awful all day so i decided it was time to try the first aid shot therapy. The liquid, as i said before, is nice and clear which is nice so you dont have to worry about spilling it on your self and having a big unsightly stain (although im sure would be a bit sticky but ill take sticky over a bright red blob). It definitly wasnt the best tasting thing ive ever drank. It wasnt too bad initally but once it hit your throat it had a strong not so pleasant flavor to it but its only 1.35 milliliters that you have to get down so its not too bad. (Think ariborne and 8 ounces you have to get down, although i kind of like airborne though most dont).

I was a little hestint about using this product becuase im not familiar with the ingredients and havent heard much about it. Learning a little more about it i might be more willing to use it more often.
I felt a tiny bit of relief after an hour or so but it didnt really do much for me and wasnt any faster then a regular pill. I have read many reviews where people have had a lot of success using this product though and im willing to give it another try.
I feel that I should let you know that about two weeks after trying this I had bad wrist pain (not related to using this!) and was unable to even bend my wrist and went in for xrays and blood work. My blood work came back with high levels of rheumatoid factor and i will be seeing a rheumatologist. Its very likely that i have rheumatoid arthritis (an autoimmune disorder, not just basic arthritis aches and pains) which is why this product might have not worked very well for me. My neck aches and headaches could be cause by my RA and regular medications tend not to work the best in relieving RA pain. I share this because my first time sampling it may not have been a fair sampling if i was going through some RA pain.

I would reccomend reading a little bit more about this product and the ingredients and giving it a try . I think it could work really well for typical aches and pains and may provide quicker relief for others then pills tend to provide. I am interested in trying the stomach relief one and seeing how well it would work. If you've tried any of the first aid shot therapys leave me a comment and let me kow what you thought :)

Thank you first aid and influenster for letting me sample thid product!

*I was given First Aid Shot Therapy (F.A.S.T) free for sampling purposes. I was asked to give my honest opinion and was not rewarded in any way for posting a positive review over a negative one. All photos in post are mine unless otherwise noted.*
